I own Snuggles Pet Spa, and I built Coatlog around the way a real grooming shop operates.
Coatlog started with the everyday work behind a grooming appointment: keeping schedules clear, remembering each pet, collecting deposits and keeping owners updated.

Common questions
How much does Coatlog cost?
$29 a month, flat, and every feature is included. Your plan comes with 500 text credits each month (250 on the founding rate). Need more? Add a prepaid package any time — never a surprise overage. The first 20 shops lock in the founding rate of $24.95 a month for as long as they stay subscribed.
How do text credits work?
One standard text = one credit. A longer message or one with emojis can use two or more, and replies from clients count too. Confirmations, reminders, pickup texts and waitlist offers all draw from your monthly credits. When they run out we stop sending and tell you — you can add a package (250 for $5, 1,000 for $15, 2,500 for $32) or send that reminder by email instead.
Can you move my data from DaySmart or Groomsoft?
Yes — we do the import for you, free. Send us your export file and we load your clients, pets, notes and visit history into Coatlog before you go live.
Do my clients need an account to book?
No. Clients open your booking page, look themselves up by phone number, pick a service and time, and they're done.
Is there a contract?
No contracts, cancel anytime. Every shop also starts with a 14-day free trial — no card needed.
What happens to my data if Coatlog shuts down?
You can export your client, pet and visit data to CSV at any time, so your shop records are not trapped in Coatlog.
Is Coatlog going to be around next year?
Coatlog is a small team focused on grooming shops and built to charge sustainably. As with any software company, nobody can promise the future, so your shop data remains exportable.
